Why should I adopt a rescue dog?
Adopting a rescue dog doesn’t just change their life—it changes yours. When you adopt, you’re giving a second chance to a dog who’s been let down before, and there is truly nothing like the love of a pup who knows you saved them. Rescue dogs aren’t broken—they’re brave, loyal, and so ready to be part of your story. So if you’ve got room in your heart (and on your couch), choose adoption. Be their hero. We promise—they’ll be yours right back.

Are there any adoption requirements?
Are there any adoption requirements?
Yes, we do have a few adoption requirements—because we want the best for our dogs and their future families. Adopters must be at least 21 years old, willing to provide a safe, loving, and stable home, and ready to commit to a dog for life. We require an application, a quick chat or home check (virtual or in-person), and a small adoption fee that helps cover the cost of vet care and supplies. Our goal isn't to make it hard—it's to make sure it's a great fit for everyone involved, especially the dog.
How to avoid picking the wrong rescue dog?
How to avoid picking the wrong rescue dog?
Choosing the right dog is a big deal—like, life-changing big. And while every dog is a good dog, not every pup is the right match for every person or family. It’s easy to fall in love with a sweet face or a sad story (we totally get it—we rescue dogs for a living!), but bringing the wrong dog home can lead to heartbreak on both sides. That’s why it’s so important to think beyond the cuteness. Ask yourself: What’s your lifestyle like? Do you love long hikes or couch marathons? Do you have other pets or young kids? Are you ready for a high-energy pup or more of a chill companion? Our team is here to help you make a thoughtful match, not just a quick decision. Because when you find the right dog, it’s magic—for both of you.
Are your rescue dogs for adoption healthy?
Are your rescue dogs for adoption healthy?
Absolutely, yes—our rescue dogs are healthy and ready for adoption! Before any dog is made available, they receive a full veterinary checkup, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, and they’re spayed or neutered. We make sure they’re on preventatives and monitored closely while in our care, whether they're in boarding or foster homes. If a dog has ongoing medical needs, we’ll be upfront and transparent so you know exactly what to expect. We believe every dog deserves a shot at a happy, healthy life—and we go the extra mile to make sure they’re feeling their best before they meet their forever family.
